Ivan Doroschuk is best known as the leader of Canada's premier synthpop band, Men Without Hats. Their enduring classics "Safety Dance" and "Pop Goes the World" have been radio favourites for 40 years.

This year, the 'Hats' celebrate the 40th anniversary of their breakout album "Rhythm of Youth". They recently released their latest album, "Again, Part 2" and continue to tour the world.

On this episode, Ivan tells us how the band morphed from a Cramps cover band, into one of the world's most celebrated electropop acts. He fills us in on the making of their latest releases, and talks about how the great Howard Jones taught him how to not just endure but revel in life on the road.
